Our roots are deep, reaching all the way back to a real estate law firm in 1990 whose clients primarily consisted of consumers looking to buy or refinance homes, and the banks, credit unions and mortgage companies looking to provide mortgages to them.

The firm’s goal was twofold: first, assist its consumer clients by monitoring current mortgage rates and other criteria of the different mortgage products offered by lenders in their local area, and to match their individual needs with the best product available to them; second, assist the firm’s bank, credit union and mortgage company clients in tracking the current mortgage rates of all of the lenders in their marketplace and to make their products readily available to prospective borrowers.

Demand for this service grew quickly, prompting the law firm to spinoff INFOTRAK as a separate company. Newspapers saw this mortgage guide service as a reliable and profitable way to provide valuable information to both their print and online audiences, and soon INFOTRAK began providing current mortgage rates and consumer banking information to newspaper companies.
